“Ashes” is a series of photographs showing the facial imprint of eight different individuals. My project shows that the real identity of an individual may lie on the imprint of the skin, not in its colour, neither on the structure of our heads. This specific project aims to contribute to an increase in respect for cultural diversity, while simultaneously highlighting individual identity within our common biological heritage.
