The research reassembles the investigation of the depiction of the human body through history. The first indications for reconstruction of the human body started with the search for truth in the creation and reproduction of gods and landlords in ancient Egypt. This went hand in hand with the creation of an image of an ideal human body, that could be transferred in all imaginable forms of art and construction work. Later, Euclid and Vitruv reinforced these ideas by differentiating the techniques of measurements and connecting proportions with mathematical formulas and geometric shapes. In the 18th century anthropometry was established as a new scientific discipline - the first large numbers of human measurement begins. The drive was a belief in the ability to link physical appearance with the phenomena of the mind, which led to fatal failures and influenced social interaction.
