In the photo book WAR LANDSCAPES through an hundred of photographs in black and white Alfredo Macchi describes landscapes of war captured in 15 years at the frontline in the major conflicts of the planet. In the almost complete absence of the human figure and away from the noise and excitement of a single conflict, I try to trigger a reflection on all wars.
