400,000 people in United States have Multiple Sclerosis, a disabling neurological condition for which there is yet no cure. Ronnie E. Raymond has a chronic-progressive form of the disease that accounts for approximately one-third of the total diagnosed cases. In the past 26 years she went from a cane to a walker, from a manual wheelchair to an electric one.Though the disease has drastically limited her mobility, Ronnie still finds a way to remain independent and enjoy the art and culture of her city.
