Decay evokes disgust. A perfect peach in the fruit bowl suddenly grows a furry coat and quickly ends up in the bin. But on a micro level there is beauty to behold. Using a macro lens to capture the mycelium growth and then playing with the Glowing Edges Filter in Photoshop beautiful worlds and landscapes appear, ripe and ready for exploration. I love the mystery of the everyday reflection of the macro world in the micro world. Some of the images created remind me of views of the universe from the Hubble Telescope.
