Monica of Raval is Barcelona's most famous prostitute. After 30 years of hard work she no longer wants to continue this trade but she needs money. Every day, from dusk to midnight, she goes out to the Raval neighbourhood to earn her daily bread looking for new customers, another type of customers.

I was born in Rosario, Argentina in 1969 but I live in Barcelona, Spain since 2000. I am interested in photography to tell the stories of people’s lives. I’m passionate about discovering the wonderful characters in those stories. I’m a self-taught photographer since 2015.
