During every summer dengue becomes active in India sub continent. So the Govt & the corporation sprays DDT vapor & smoke through out the locality to kill mosquito.DDT , abbreviation of dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane is the most dangerous chemical composition for human.A synthetic insecticide belonging to the family of organic halogen compounds, highly toxic toward a wide variety of insects as a contact poison that apparently exerts its effect by disorganizing the nervous system.DDT gets into our bodies and it stays there, usually in thyroid,fatty organs,and adrenals.DDT also stayed in tinier concentrations in our livers and kidneys.It tends to stay in the fat bodies of our bodies.The NTP classifies it as "reasonably anticipated to be a carcinogen," the International Agency for Research on Cancer classifies it as "probably carcinogenic to humans", and the EPA classifies DDT, DDE and DDD as class B2 "probable" carcinogens.Mosquito can be controlled by using other eco friendly method like cleanliness of environment, destroying the larvae , removing unhealthy water bodies & by using mosquito net in night & early morning.
