Vatnajökull Glacier. Iceland's largest glacier covers more than 8% of the country. Below its average 1,300 ft. (400m) thick sheet of sheer ice lays several active volcano vents creating caves such as the one seen here. The number of these caves increased because of the receding from the ocean of the glacier. An amazing view. A freezing mirage.
