The photographic portrait "Dreesch" explores a panel building settlement in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. This was not only the largest district of the GDR, but also the most beautiful and most advanced of its kind. In the complex on the outskirts of Schwerin, up to 62,000 people found a home. Today only very few people live in the former showcase project and the once busy streets have become extinct. A look in the dark window shows empty apartments. The few who live here are often found in a diffuse state of resignation and hope.
