Self-Exposure

    Silver in Fine Art/Collage

Each image: 20" x 16" archival pigment print on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Ultrasmooth, mounted full bleed to 1.5" thick, gesso'd cradled wood panel, then altered with hand coloring and coated with encaustic media. Self-Exposure walks the line between reality and artifice; between soul searching and social commentary. Although each image is an introspective and expressive look at my own persona, each is also a critique of commonly held societal beliefs about feminine identity and contemporary expectations of women.
