Seeking Justice - Rohingya Refugees

The Rohingya are a stateless Muslim minority in Myanmar. Since 25 August, more than 650,000 Rohingya have fled to Bangladesh following targeted violence against them in neighbouring Rakhine state, Myanmar. Most are living in makeshift settlements without adequate access to shelter, food, clean water or latrines. Many others are elderly people requiring additional aid and protection. The crisis shows little sign of abating and a significant increase of humanitarian aid is needed.

TAKUMI WADA was born in 1988, based in Tokyo, Japan. He is a documentary photographer who especially forcusing on the human rights, social disparities. He has completed his undergraduate studies Economics and International Relations at universities in Japan. He has won several international awards and his works have been exhibited and published internationally. He is currently based in Tokyo, Japan and mainly covers people who live in harsh environments such as workers and refugees around the world.
