These photographic profiles detail the rarely seen side view of a person’s face. I seek to capture the moment when my subject emerges in its simplest form. Rarely do we see others or ourselves from the side. What I am aiming to record is the uniqueness and “beauty” in each of these men’s faces. Their profiles show the noble contours and prominent features, ruffled hair, the lines of time. My subjects are chosen for their distinctive, distinguished features. Even within the more limited depth constraints of a profile, the topography can be fascinating.
