I got obsessed with Edward Hopper's paintings since several years ago. Inspired by Richard Tuschman's work, I created this photography series all by miniature models. Instead of reproducing Hopper's images, I wanted to recreate the solitude and the melancholy in his paintings. Each photo is a peek of a room with ordinary people in it. They are looking out, waiting. No matter with or without company, they are lonely, like anyone may feel sometime, somewhere. At that moment, there's no past, no future, no right, no wrong. Time seems to be still yet remain flowing. It's a moment of oneself.
