It is a challenging existence. For the observer, it can be confronting yet difficult to turn away one's gaze. It can be brutal, or tender, alien or familiar, but always eye-opening. For the animals, it is the way it has always been for thousands of years, and when man is gone, it will continue unabated. For nature's sole purpose is the propagation of the genes through the generations without empathy or consideration for the individual. So for me, it is a world of superlatives, both visually and emotionally.
