Swiss artist, Paul Klee said “Art does not reproduce what we see; rather, it makes us see”. I find it depicting an important mission of photographers “Flow” is a photographic project with a staircase as the subject. However, I did not purely document it. I studied lines and curves and found movements within frames. I'd like to study the paradox of movements within still pictures.
Lawrence Cheung is a fine-art photographer. He was trained professionally in photography at the Open University of Hong Kong Lawrences works has received recognitions in the international photography circle. His works were accepted in the Singapore International Photography awards in 2014 - 2016 and Trierenberg Super Circuit in 2015-2017 He obtained an Associateship (Visual Art) and Bronze Exhibitor distinctions from The Royal Photographic Society of Great Britain in 2013 and the Singapore Photographic Society in 2016, respectively
