This might seem immoral. Immoral to only use the fish for a photo shooting, not to fill someone's stomach. The enjoyment of eating the fish is transient, whereas these images make the fish immortal. Henri Kirsch is a performance artist and conceptual photographer from Berlin. Her relentless art creates images, that forces to confront with one's role on Earth. The human being serves as a canvas for its self-inflicted discomfort. Through the perspective of photography the grotesque becomes beautiful and the beautiful becomes grotesque.
