The night of November 12, 2019 is very strange; suddenly an extremely violent wind rises. In a few minutes a storm invades Venice; the water level reaches 187 cm. The force of water and wind sinks the boats, destroys the brick walls that rise along the canals. Many boats are literally raised and end up in the streets of Venice. The day after, Venice seems like a war zone. While some curious tourists take selfies and while the media talk about the tragedy, a group of Venetians toasts in fron of my camera. With a smile they want to witness the spirit of citizens, always high, despite everything.

Writer, Videomaker and Music Composer. A Venice native, Povoleri writing stories for comics. Thanks to the sponsorship by writer/journalist Alberto Ongaro, Povoleri began his collaboration with many publishing company and working for many years as a storywriter with the Walt Disney Italia. Povoleri currently works as a television director of lyric opera and symphonic concerts for the La Fenice Theater in Venice.
