Chongqing, located in south-western China with a large population of 28 million, is a city of rich history and culture. Administratively, it is one of China's four municipalities under the direct administration of central government (the other three are Beijing, Shanghai and Tianjin). It is also the place where the Jialing River merges into the Yangtze River, which makes bridges important and a key symbol of Chongqing. Chongqing is developing from year to year. Tradition and contemporary are presented in a harmonic and co-existing way. Dongshuimen Bridge and Qiansimen Bridge are tween bridges
