The Gongweixu monorail train tunnel was completed in Miaoli County, Taiwan in 1903. The words "Gongweixu" at the north exit was inscribed by Taro, the governor of Taiwan at that time. The round arch made of red brick is quite elegant and beautiful. The train stopped in 1998. It is re-planned as a hiking trail so the local council installed the various LED lights in the tunnel to make the scenery more colorful and dreamlike.
