Traveling in Abkhazia was an incredible experience for the journey itself, but the unique Soviet bus stops caught my attention on the road. Throughout the country I have captured these. The stops are unique and extraordinary in their design, this goes far beyond the function of a shelter. Built with a mix of mosaics, stone, concrete, and plastic but there 60 years of service have taken their toll on the stops, many of which are in bad condition and in decline.
