The Huli

The indigenous Huli are the last traditional tribe in the Southern Highlands of Papua New Guinea. Undiscovered by Europeans until the 1930s, their way of life differs little today from what the first missionaries encountered. In 2013 I spent time with them to study their culture, customs and history.
