The Crisis Ukraine had began when groups of pro-Russian and anti- central Kiev government protesters seized government buildings in eastern Ukraine. In the aftermath of the Euromaidan protests of 2014 in Kiev, the expand of the protests across the southern and eastern Ukraine has led to an escalation in the conflict, turning it into a battle between armed pro russian anti government separatist forces of the self-proclaimed Republics of Donetsk and Lugansk, and the Ukrainian government. I spent four months in Ukraine, first in Kiev, then Crimea and Eastern Ukraine. What I present here is my work from the east of Ukraine, where I spent time looking at the people's faces and expressions to understand their feelings and emotions and fears, during this historic moment.
