"Beauty lies not in objects, but in the interaction between the shadow and light created by objects" There used to be no illuminant at night except for accidental fire and starlight here on earth. Today, it’s always someone’s will that decides what is lit (shown) and what isn’t (hidden.) by artificial lights which is fascinating.
