Bondas The Tribe of India

Bondas are one of the oldest tribes in India.In the hill forest of Malkangiri district of Orissa apx 1100 people are still surviving with their unaltered culture over last 1000 years. They live in a matriarchal society and women are very colorful with bids and metal ornaments, which they believe protect them from diseases and animal attack. Once a week they come to the nearest village market to trade of the local produce against food essentials. This series were shoot at the local village market as well as in their hill habitat.
