My work has been exhibited in Arles/ France, Prague/Czech, Lodz/Poland, Tbilisi/Georgia, Helsinki/Finland and Germany (Berlin, Hamburg, Darmstadt, Cologne etc.) and was internationally published in magazines, calendars, catalogues and newspapers (DIE ZEIT Zeit-online.de, Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung, LEICA FOTOGRAFIE INTERNATIONAL etc.) Statement: It is a worldwide phenomenon that people want to leave markings of their presence. In the past in Africa or Australia has been found paintings or handprints in caves or at holy places. In our days all around the world lovers have unique ways of showing their affection for one another, mostly on walls or trees. But few are as sweet and enduring as the act of locking a couple’s love with a padlock and throwing away the keys. Or taking photographs and pin them on the wall. . All pictures are telling little stories about love and desire, about time and not least myself. The photographs were taken in Portugal, Germany, Greece, Burma and Australia. The series is titled: „I was here“.
