“Mono Variant” is a series created with the desire to document and re-present the repetitive, mundane experiences while navigating through life on this island city-state (Singapore). Through the repetitive act of multiple exposures of the commonplace and objects I encounter, the series is an attempt to embody the unspectacular, humdrumness of daily life into single frames; to perhaps re-encounter the relentless similarities of everyday monotony in a single gaze.
