TRASH IN ITALY a photographical travel trough an unusual italian landscape, where the concept of "beautiful" has been moved to other canons. A surreal route - also why more than real- where the absolutely protagonists are the so called "ECOMONSTERS", constructions that provoke perplexities or better said, reflections regarding the aesthetical level and the ambiental point of view. An image of the italian territory who starts from the majestic unnecessesary dams to the abandoned Hotels to the invaded architecture of the new touristic villages. The photographical search follows the aesthetical criterions, anthropologicals and sociologicals, with the objective to give an unusual testimony, far of the habitual holographic look. Italy in view of a map of contradictions, between degradation and wonder, between amazement and abandonment. foto©elisa scaramuzzino
