Budapest - A Story Of Two Separated Cities

A great notions of old and new urban ideology, which make the city so natural and organic that you hardly even notice where the line between the two was blurred in time. This capital of Hungary was actually a joint of two cities – Buda (where I’m standing at the lookup point) and Pest (the flat lands across the river where the urban sprawl settled down). This two side were separated by the long Danube River and connected by severals bridges. As you across the river, you’ll experience the beautiful contrast between Buda and Pest as the suburban Buda have its own historic castle district, medieval streets and houses, museums, caves and Roman ruins while the dynamic Pest side boasts the largest parliament building in Europe, riverside promenades, flea markets, bookstores, antique stores and café houses.
