My project on child sexual abuse was a personal journey for me, which began over 30 years ago, when at the age of 5, I was molested by a stranger. After 12 years of work, I finally self- published My Piece of Sky: Stories of Child Sexual abuse (MPS), in 2014, with funds raised on Kickstarter. MPS provides an unprecedented visual exploration into the world of child sexual abuse. NB. I introduced the book at Perpignan in Sept 2013. They were 30 copies that printers rushed for me to be able to show my work there. The final book has a different cover and was bound differently – I received the final books in November 2013 in South Africa and did a few media interviews, but was then diagnosed with burn out and so was only able to do the US launch in May 2014 and a South Africa launch in August 2014.
