Hito - from being to essence

The human figure is remodelled through filtering. Features are less and less distinctive and traits becomes blurred. The person gets mangled; trapped in the net stays the physiognomy. Losing physical connotations, the photographed is gradually liberated from confinement of body. Mirrors capture just its shape. Reflection transcends matter, transforming it into a distant echo, a reminiscence, a shade. The remaining is more than abstract, it is an ideogram symbol of the pure essence of humanness: Hito (person).
