The series "Nebula" are portraits made on coloured glass and aluminium plates. For this series I have used an early photographic technique called wet plate collodion. The process requires long exposures that ease the sitters into detaching themselves from their immediate surrounds, almost as if suspended in time and in space. I find this state of limbo fascinating.
