Building of VWS (Versuchsanstalt für Wasserbau und Schiffbau) - Institute of hydraulic engineering and shipbuilding on the island Schleuseninsel lying on the border of the Tiergarten park. The building was buzzing in the years 1903-1995 thanks to a gigantic tunnel (like a most Berlin tubes - in pink); now it functions as one of the buildings Technical University of Berlin.
