The series shows noise barriers along German motorways. Germany is still the only country in the world where no speed limit exists on the "Autobahn". Barriers are being built almost everywhere to protect people, who are living near. These buildings exist in strange forms of architecture. Each community is allowed to create it's own design, because there are no overall guidelines about how these walls have to look like. The pictures were taken all over Germany. This is what you can see, when you cross the whole country by car and have a look out of the side windows every so often.
