Holdings Brothers Pottery was established in 1842 and was a successful family run business until 2010 when the pottery closed for unknown reasons. The building has become a victim of nature, since the roof collapsed leaving the main part of the property open to the elements. Equipment is still there, which processed the clay.. rotting and rusty now they are obsolete in this modern age.

Following my love of art and photography after bringing up my four children I went back to school, then after a year taking a higher education course in Art & Design I then attended Batley School of Art and completed a 3 year BA Hons Photography degree gaining a fist class honours degree in 2014. My love of abandoned places and forgotten spaces drives my passion
