The Galleria Umberto 1 in Naples was built in 1887 and rebuilt after World War II. It faces Italy's largest and oldest opera house the Teatro San Carlo, built by Charles Bourbon in 1737. My challenge was to portray the beautifully detailed craftsmanship and historic old world charm, with the relaxed shopping nature of the fashionable Neapolitans.
