An activist taking part in a sit in against the EU plan to eradicate up to 1 million centuries-old olive trees (proposed as UNESCO heritage) in one of the most picturesque tourist spots of southern Italy, causing untold environmental damage. Ambientalists strongly believe there is a speculative plan behind it.
