Marina Rinaldi, 33 years old, lives in Rufoli, a fraction of Salerno. After a surgical operation two years ago in Thailand, today is the first former transsexual in the world to coach a football team, the “San Michele Rufoliâ€, team of Salerno who play in the Group A of the provincial championship of third category. For her sport adventure Marina has enjoyed the moral support of the pastor of Rufoli, Don Michael Alfano and today would not be able to lead a happy life without sport and faith.
Born and currently based in Naples, Italy. In 2009 I graduated in Sociology at the “Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II”. In 2010 I started studying on the MA Photojournalism program at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Napoli where I got my degree with honors. Some of my work have been exhibited in the PAN-Palazzo Arti Napoli (Italy), Biennal of Bibbiena (Italy), Palm Spring Photo Festival (California), Tel Aviv Photo Fair (Israel), etc. My work has been published on Bbc, Time, The Guardian, Newsweek and more.
