The Awakening

Photographed along Ireland's west coast using an 8 x 10 pinhole camera. I filled my backpack with rocks and secured it to my tripod to prevent the large camera from toppling over from the strong westerly winds. A thirty minute exposure subdues the violent Atlantic surf, casting an ethereal mood over this coastal scene in co. Donegal.
