'So, This is Desire?' is a series conceived in Apartheid South Africa circa 1960's. It deals with the complex relationships between the white owners of the home and their staff. Inter-racial relationships were illegal and taboo in this era; many white children were raised by black nannies. The series explores the tension that may have existed in a home during this era.
