The Battle of the Oranges

The Battle of the Oranges is held annually in Ivrea (Italy) during the Carnival period. Nine teams of walk shooters who represent the insurgent people defy with shots of oranges the 49 wagons full of masked shooters who represent the defenders of the local tyrant.
