Many Filipinos have been displaced from their homes because of natural disasters such as typhoons and floods. Forced to move to Manila from the provinces in search of work. They become Street Vendors who line the banks overlooking Manila Bay.They have the best views but no shelter sleeping on the sidewalks. Across the Boulevard opulent wealth is growing from property development of skyscrapers. Despite all the hardships they encounter, their resilient and relentless spirit is astounding. Ironically they still love the ocean that washed their homes away. They are materialistically poor but spiritually rich.
