Like the Corners of My Mind

The series consists of five portraits, symbolising themes linked to memories from my youth. The early death of my mother inspired several photography projects I have made. Her favourite flower was the starting point of the series. Dutch floral artists created all attributes used. Two pictures of plants that are used for the series show their roots and their flower symbolising lows and peaks in life.
