Living on the front lines of the Ukraine conflict has resulted in civilians living in fear and desperate conditions. Over the past year rocket and shrapnel fire had damaged many residential areas, leaving people to pick up the pieces. After weeks of fighting locals living in basements venture out to seek supplies. A bread delivery van causes a stampede as they crush each other while attempting to grab bread loaves.
