Project Y

Project Y was created using an artistic approach based on similarities and tries to show a universal shape of resemblance. Our environment is composed of opposing elements and despite differences in identity, material, and color- the same shape occurs systematically as an obsession. Y: is namely a link between distinctive elements by means of a single shape. It is sometimes suggested, sometimes fully visible. Thierry du Bois wants to create disorientation between the living and the artificial. As our history shows, man constantly produces artificial materials which directly impacts the earth’s development: "Nothing is lost, nothing is created, everything is transformed", but for how long? This project wants to generate a reflection on the material processing system. Will Mother Nature have time to alter human overproduction?
