From its initial conception photography aimed to create realistic impressions of the visual world; technological advances in the medium have gotten us closer to reality only to realize reality is actually quite mundane. My color field images aim to evoke an emotion by attempting to strip away time and place leaving the viewer to question the very basis of what photography means to them.
