My love affair with photography began when I attended the U.S. Navy’s Periscope Photography School while stationed at Pearl Harbor. I was inspired by the lush Hawaiian landscape and to capture its beauty on film, equipped only with a second-hand 35mm camera and a discerning eye. In the years since then, constant practice and better equipment have elevated my work to an art form. With my trusty camera I can often be seen documenting special occasions and events, but my first love is still landscape and nature photography. I am happiest when focusing on the beauty of God’s creation.
