There is nothing special about the subject matter - so much so we overlook these simple scenes: raindrops, tiny waves, a bunch of small rocks, a wave washing up on the beach... yet, if we look carefully, there are myriad nuances and extraordinary beauty to be found in the mundane simplicity of the sea. Indeed, we can see the universe in a grain of sand, in a tiny wave, in a rock.
