Photographing the Northern Lights is one of the greatest highs I have ever experienced. So much has to come together. Clear skies, new moon, correct rotation of the Earth, sacrificing sleep, and finding some incredible dark skies. Being out in the middle of nowhere and watching the Northern Lights erupt from a green arc into dancing pillars of light is something everyone should experience. Adrenaline pumps through your veins as goosebumps rush over you. Emotions swell as you press the shutter. A high so addicting it sends in pursuit of chasing the light every chance you get.
