Pacu Jawi, Indonesian word for bull racing, is a tradition event to celebrate the end of a harvest season. The rider would balance himself on a wooden frame tied onto each bull and clinging to the animals’ tails to race across the muddy paddy fields. The rider would bite the bull’s tail to get them to run faster. Image showing a rider split widely before falling down
