The National Pajama Day is an educational and supportive day made by children who help other children. On this day, children up to 10 years (this year 2015 it was extended to children in the 1st cycle), in schools and institutions, from all over the country come dressed in pajamas to school and spend the day in educational and fun activities until returning home. The National Pajama Day is held on 20 November each year in Portugal. In previous weeks, the teachers and the educators can also arrange in the classroom with children and families, a set of fun and educational activities proposed by the Mission Pajama. This is a day when young children remember annually everyone that "a child has the right to grow up in a family."
